Our Lancaster County, PA banking customer, is seeking a Systems/Network Engineer who has a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 Suite of technologies, Windows OS, and a solid networking background. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, VMWare infrastructure with hands-on experience in networking equipment like Aruba/HPE switches and FortiGate firewalls.
Key Responsibilities
• Microsoft 365 Administration:
o Manage and optimize Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams environments.
o Implement best practices for security, compliance, and data governance within the M365 suite.
• Network Engineering:
o Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLANs, and VPNs.
o Configure and manage Aruba/HPE switches and FortiGate firewalls.
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Systems Integration:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and applications.
o Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell.
• Security & Compliance:
o Implement network and system security measures following industry best practices.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Documentation & Support:
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
o Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.
Qualifications
• Education & Experience:
o BS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems and network engineering roles.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft 365 technologies: Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
o Strong networking background with experience in:
? Configuring and managing Aruba/HPE switches.
? Managing FortiGate firewalls.
? Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
? Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Certifications (Preferred):
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
o Fortinet NSE Certification.
o Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP).
• Soft Skills:
