Plant Controller
A manufacturing firm is seeking a Plant Controller to support a couple locations. This role will not have direct reports but will work closely with Plant Managers and occasional travel *4 times a year) is required. The role will be responsible for financial reporting and operational analysis for assigned plants.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and publish reporting packages to be used to analyze operations and make strategic decisions.
- This reporting requires the correlation of monthly production metrics to cost and profitability and reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly KPI’s.
- Review reporting which flags a lack of timely compliance with plant processes and liaise with plant operations staff to ensure that remedial action is taken in a timely manner.
- Support the annual planning process with plant management.
- Perform business modeling such as what if scenarios.
- Report against same and providing explanations where there are deviations.
- Ensure the accuracy of reported costs by continually ensuring Bill of Material (BOM) are accurate and reflect the current use or raw materials with production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of cost accounting/FP&A experience within a manufacturing organization
