Role Overview

In this role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, influence decision-making, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate investment opportunities and operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for providing thought leadership, financial insights, and recommendations that enhance corporate strategy. Reporting into the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, this position offers you direct exposure to senior leadership and high-impact strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate business cases, conducting rigorous financial assessments to support investment decisions and resource allocation.
- Act as an internal financial consultant, assisting business leaders in optimizing capital investments and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Design and maintain complex financial models to analyze current and projected financial performance, guiding strategic decision-making.
- Establish and refine frameworks for capital allocation, tracking, and reporting.
- Analyze financial performance across products and business segments, identifying key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with leadership teams to drive financial insights, optimize business strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
- Synthesize and present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders, facilitating data-driven discussions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Prepare detailed ad hoc financial analysis and executive presentations to support strategic reviews.
- Lead and manage multiple high-priority initiatives, ensuring timely execution and impact.
- Mentor junior team members, supporting their development in financial analysis, business case creation, and capital allocation strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, effectively influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategy, or management consulting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in capital allocation frameworks, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
- Background in large-scale corporate environments preferred; consulting or banking experience is a plus.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools; experience with Adaptive Insights and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and develop structured analytical approaches.
