Are you an experienced property accounting professional ready to take on a dynamic role with a growing company? Our client, a thriving real estate company in Philadelphia, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to oversee the financial operations of their expanding property portfolio.
Your Role:
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial health of multiple properties. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing monthly and quarterly accounting closes, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany fees.
- Reconciling bank accounts for all assigned properties.
- Managing daily cash flow for properties in your portfolio.
- Preparing and entering journal entries to ensure financial statements accurately reflect activity and balances.
- Handling special projects and tasks as assigned, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
What You Bring:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in property accounting.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of GAAP and proficiency in Excel.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a preferred but not required.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with AppFolio software is advantageous.
- Attributes: A detail-oriented and organized professional with a knack for problem-solving and multitasking.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
