Location: Bedford, MA
Hybrid schedule - 3 days/week in office
Position Summary:
The Tax Manager will support the US Tax team’s federal, state, and international income tax accounting, compliance, and planning functions. Will be responsible for completing monthly tax provisions and reconcile tax accounts on a timely basis in accordance with the company's monthly close process. The Tax Manager will work cross functionally to document tax positions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly reporting package and income tax provisions for select US and Canadian subsidiaries in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Reconcile tax accounts and maintain supporting tax schedules to comply with annual financial statement audit requests.
- Respond to tax notices, communicate with tax authorities, and provide support for tax audits.
- Provide state apportionment information and other documentation to support the outsourced preparation of annual corporation income tax returns.
- Compile data to support the Company’s research and experimentation capitalization and associated tax credits.
- Implement process improvements to address the impact of new tax legislation on the company.
- Provide support for internal audits and special projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field required.
- 5-7 years of corporate income tax experience in a large multi-national corporation or accounting firm with significant exposure to multinational and multstate tax issues.
- Experience with researching, documenting, and interpreting the impact of tax issues on a large multinational corporation.
- Demonstrated success in the timely completion of income tax audits.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
