VP of HR – Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the HR function, overseeing compliance, benefits administration, and payroll operations.
- Manage and mentor a seasoned HR team (HR Generalist, Recruiter, and Payroll), with potential for future restructuring.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while ensuring best practices.
- Work closely with executive leadership, providing strategic HR guidance while operating independently.
- Foster a positive workplace culture with a strong focus on work-life balance and long-term employee retention.
VP of HR – Requirements
- 10 years of HR experience, including benefits administration, compliance, and payroll knowledge (Paylocity experience a plus but not required).
- 5 years of supervisory experience leading HR teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously in a hands-off leadership environment while keeping executives informed
Schedule:
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote (4 days onsite during the first 2-3 months for training).
