The Salesforce Platform Manager will lead the administration, optimization, and strategic development of our Salesforce platform, serving as product owner and ensuring it serves as the unified application layer supporting the company’s various business systems. This role will be responsible for managing the Salesforce development roadmap, driving platform adoption and enhancements, and collaborating on system integrations to unify disparate workflows into a seamless, data-driven ecosystem. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration and configuration, with a Salesforce Administrator certification and experience in developing scalable solutions that align with business goals. This role will work closely with stakeholders across marketing, business teams, community banking, customer service, operations, and IT to enhance system efficiency, streamline processes, ensure data integrity, lead CRM sales enablement, and enable data-driven decision-making. 

Additionally, the Salesforce Platform Manager will execute the company's integration strategy, ensuring that Salesforce serves as the primary hub for customer and business data, connecting various third-party applications, enterprise systems, and data sources. By maintaining a well-governed, high-performing, and future-ready platform, this position will play a crucial role in transforming Salesforce into a powerful business enabler.

Responsibilities/Duties

Lead Salesforce Platform Development & Management: 

Lead Salesforce Platform Development & Management 

• Lead the administration for the Salesforce platform, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. 
• Configure and customize Salesforce, including flows, validation rules, dashboards, reports, and permissions to meet business needs. 
• Manage system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and integrations with third-party applications. 
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance within Salesforce. 
• Build the strategic roadmap for Platform development.  

Business Process Optimization & Support: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (marketing, business teams, community banking, operations, customer support) to gather requirements and implement solutions. 
• Develop and maintain workflows, automation, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. 
• Oversee resources and co-workers dedicated to user support, training, and documentation to enhance adoption and system utilization. 

Data Management & Reporting: 

• Oversee data quality, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics. 
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide insights and drive business decisions. 
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues. 

System Development & Innovation: 

• Identify and implement best practices to maximize the value of Salesforce. 
• Partner with leadership to develop Salesforce roadmaps and long-term platform strategies. 
• Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features, apps, and integrations to support business objectives. 

 Other Responsibilites: 

• Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs to suggest appropriate services. Directs customers to appropriate person to establish business relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee may be required to ascend/descend stairs and work atop a small ladder to store and retrieve files.  The employee will need to position self to lift up to 20 pounds of materials for file maintenance.   The worker sits most of the time; however, some amount of mobility is necessary to accomplish tasks.  The ability to communicate and exchange information verbally and written is required.  The incumbent will operate a computer terminal and phone with repetitive motion, while analyzing or preparing data.  Temperature changes may occur during the workday in the office setting. 

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

• Salesforce Administrator certification required (Advanced Administrator certification preferred). 
• 3 years of Salesforce administration experience, including customization, automation, and user support. 
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Industry Solutions, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. 
• Experience with Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Apex (preferred but not required). 
• Familiarity with data management, security models, and integration best practices. 
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 
• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries. 
• Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot. 
• Knowledge of third-party integrations (e.g., Mulesoft, Informatica, or other API and ETL tools). 
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Datorama, PowerBI, Looker Studio)
