The Café attendant is the key role in operating a Starbucks venue, Hershey’s Ice Cream and retail store. The attendant will take care of residents in all aspects of the café with a smile.
This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the face of the cafe experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards.
Your Responsibilities:
As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
Compensation: $16.00 Hourly

Your Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Addressing guest issues as needed, informing manager of opportunities
- Completing inventory with manager
- Submitting order to manager for all areas based on pars
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Cleaning service and seating areas
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
- Servicing customers and taking orders
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
- Receiving and processing customer payments
- Preparing ice cream orders
- Stocking retail store during shift as needed
- Helping guest with all aspects of the café including Starbucks, Hershey’s Ice Cream and full retail component.
- Totals receipts at end of shift
- Perform various other duties as assigned
- GED or High School Diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year in a similar role preferred.
- Team player.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guess and team members.
- Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
- Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
- Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
- Schedule: Varying days and times, dependent on the needs of the business. Must have open availability.
