Job Overview:
As a Gate Attendant, you'll be responsible for performing duties to provide gate coverage of assigned property, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Your Responsibilities:
- Greet, monitor and authorize entrance of homeowners, real estate agents, delivery services, visitors and other persons while maintaining security of premises. Make positive identification and determine appropriate action. Ensure quality, consistent and overall customer service presentation to residents and guests.
- Maintain system and logs with required information.
- Monitor cameras and make incident reports as required.
- Distribute keys and reservation forms for use of amenities following proper procedures.
- Implement emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner and within specified guidelines. Maintain awareness and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Report all issues, complaints and safety matters to Management.
- Act as an Ambassador to the community.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to properly represent the organization at all times. Must follow the company dress code and Policy and display identification badges at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
