Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer troubleshooting, multimedia content creation (including Canva), audiovisual systems, and website administration. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to write clearly and effectively are also essential. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment and enjoys helping others succeed with technology.
Compensation : $22-$25 / hr
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provides hands-on troubleshooting for computer hardware and software issues.
- Set-up, maintain and troubleshoot audio visual equipment for meetings, presentations and performances.
- Ensure all technical equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Create visually appealing graphics, presentations and advertising materials using tools like Canva.
- Edit and Optimize videos, images and other multimedia content for various platforms.
- Must use and troubleshoot Microsoft Word and Excel : being able to create spreadsheets, organizational forms, etc.
- Assist team members with mastering these tools to improve productivity.
- Manage and update website content in a WYSIWYG environment.
- Administer passwords to new residents and verify residency.
