Job Overview:
Conduct research and complex analyses on company financials and indicators to determine present and future financial performance. Prepare and deliver a wide range of reports and presentations including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, financial trends and data analysis to support senior management in making sound business decisions.
Responsibilities:

- Develop, prepare and present specialized reports, profitability analysis, pricing analysis, other ad-hoc projects and financial models using Microsoft Excel & VENA.
- Create, maintain, and improve pricing models for new businesses, as well as producing all models for renewals; oftentimes working closely with market leaders.
- Conduct research and analyze monthly results versus budget, forecast, and prior year at varying levels throughout the organization.
- Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
- Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas.
- Review and investigate accounting transactions to improve date accuracy.
- Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, including collaboration with senior levels of management, creation of financial models and templates, and preparation of final presentations and analysis.
- Coordinate and cooperate with various departments and levels of management, as needed, to accurately report financials, reflect trends during forecasting/budgeting, and update pricing models.
- Make recommendations for improvement of financial reporting, business modeling, budgeting/forecasting, and other company financial outputs.
- Work in tandem with analysts on team; providing backup, support, and guidance when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred but not required; minimum 5-7 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Annual planning/budgeting experience required. Strong technical skills and minimum 3-5 years of experience with databases and complex excel formulas. Working knowledge Vena preferred.

- Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Exhibit resourcefulness with a high level of precision but also comfortable with ambiguity
- High degree of business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations and analyses
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
Basic Understanding of GAAP
Travel:
Work involves minimal travel.
