What you will be doing:

• Completing complex adjustments and research requests.
• Providing internal support to colleagues on a variety of requests including account maintenance and transactions for mutual fund back offices, account holders and financial professionals.
• Prepares, inputs and verifies transactions using computer systems, in addition to division specific systems and subsystems.
• Identifies firm trends, differences, unique processes and makes suggestions/collaborates will peers and leaders to standardize and/or streamline workflows and/or create efficiencies across firms/clients serviced.
• Sharing best practices and providing support operations teams as  necessary, on where to find information in policies and procedures to find resolutions.
• Assisting in training and acting as a subject matter expert on various topics.
• Participating in ongoing training and staying abreast of financial regulatory changes.
• Assist in documentation of processes and procedures.
• Assisting with operational aspects when onboarding new clients.
• Responding to clients regarding status of requests.
• Managing multiple work queues in coordination with SLA standards.
• Providing customer service via inbound and outbound calls and email/electronic communications with clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We work within multiple transfer agent systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working from home- This position will work remotely and will require you to identify a location from which you can maintain the confidentiality of customer account information. Consistently being on camera will be required during any meetings or training.

What you bring:

• Working knowledge of Mutual Funds with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.    
• Strong de-escalation abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make independent decisions daily
• Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adapts positively to change and effectively copes with business demands.
• Strong technical skills to multitask, troubleshoot, and navigate various systems.
• Detail oriented, organized, and ability to accurately provide information to clients and/or direct investors.
• Strong and professional communication skills to team members, clients, and leadership.
• Monitor all workflows and queues within SLA standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime when volumes dictate.
• Ability to productively handle inbound/outbound telephone calls, various email inboxes, processing TA transactions and meet performance goals.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong ability to assist with writing procedures that will aid the team in completing work tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple work types daily and prioritize work volumes throughout various work queues.
• Assist in the operational aspects of onboarding new clients.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of the FIS systems.
• High-speed internet with ethernet access that meets our criteria of 50 MBPS download and 6 MBPS upload.
• Understanding of FIS policies and procedures, workflows, and escalation processes.
