About the role:
FIS is looking for a Product Manager to build out our digital business banking capabilities and experiences. They will help create a stance on the best-in-class digital business banking experience, how it can be applied across multiple entry points to the ecosystem, and drive change towards those goals. This person will need to understand the application of modern digital banking solutions, the financial services delivered across those channels and how to express that internally and to our many clients. This person will partner closely with engineering and design to ideate solutions and them into production. About the team:
The Product Manager will report directly to the Head of Product for Digital Business Banking. The role will be integral to realizing our vision by working across FIS, our partners, our hundreds of clients, and hundreds of thousands of end users.
What you will be doing:
- Communicate the key aspects of the digital business banking strategy.
- Owns the product roadmap for Digital One Business. Shares and presents these roadmaps across a broad set of stakeholders.
- Demonstrates leadership through the establishment and articulation of a clear vision and how that translates to objectives and key results.
- Owns the intake process for product enhancements and provides timely feedback and tracking of those requests.
- Execute on the strategy.
- Determines priorities across the development cycle.
- Builds and drives the adoption of product requirement documents for your responsible solutions. This includes identifying risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, and turning those into actionable work.
- Collaborate with partners and clients
- Drives close connection with partner teams and stakeholders to create true interlock on product plans and timelines.
- Manages product expectations and team direction in the annual planning process and the regular budgeting process.
- Engages and interacts with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions. Practices open and honest communications with clients.
- Manages vendor relationships key to product delivery and collaborates with vendor support managers for oversight and maintenance of all secondary and support vendor relationships.
- Be a thought leader.
- Collaborates with senior management to provide content for market messages, sales collateral and as needed RFPs (request for proposal).
- Presents product information and industry thought leadership to external audiences in webinars and client conferences.
- Provides presentations to clients during business reviews, prospect briefings and internal group meetings.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 5 years of relevant product management experience or equivalent experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products
- Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
- Client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients' needs, establishing credibility and building positive, professional, relationships with clients
- Strong people management and analytical, problem-solving skills
