What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor position at Fischer Counseling Inc?
Fischer Counseling Inc. is hiring part-time and full-time mental health counselors responsible for providing individual, couple, and family counseling services. All candidates must have a minimum of a master’s degree in counseling or a related field that allows you to become a licensed counselor or social worker in the state of Illinois. Illinois licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete treatment plans, case notes, and assessments promptly.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities

- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
