We are currently looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our team. This position will play a key role in driving sales growth by managing existing distributor accounts, qualifying new sales opportunities and supporting the sales team. This role will focus on customer engagement, order management and CRM utilization to ensure seamless service and sales execution.
This position will be onsite in Antioch, IL and may include some local travel to trade shows or customer visits.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years inside sales experience in related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful experience in sales of products related to food service, packaging or a similar industry
- Experience working with distribution channels for the food service or hospitality industry is a plus
- Strong customer service demeanor with a proactive and positive solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player to carry out assignments to completion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Salesforce or similar programs and ERP systems
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively respond to inbound customer requests and inquiries.
- Assess customer needs and present applicable solutions, including value proposition and accurate proposals.
- Meet or exceed company revenue targets through utilization of sales practices including upselling, cross-selling and consultative selling techniques.
- Provide key sales support for the Distribution Sales team, including but not limited to preparing quotes, scheduling calls, and providing relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and customer interactions in CRM (Salesforce)
- Monitor distributor sales targets by reviewing customer ordering trends and sales forecasts
- Provide product samples to customers and potential customers.

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is $62K-$72K. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
