Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in plumbing. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced journeyman plumbers, gaining hands-on training and technical knowledge while assisting in a variety of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn to read blueprints, plumbing codes, and schematics.
- Help troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and pipe damage.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites, ensuring they are properly maintained and organized.
- Support water heater installations, drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and fixture replacements.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Participate in training programs and coursework to advance plumbing knowledge.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Eagerness to learn the plumbing trade and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, or crawl spaces.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program and complete required coursework.
- Prior experience in construction or plumbing is a plus but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
