Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Legal Scheduling Assistant with previous law firm scheduling experience to join our team. This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining the scheduling process for our legal team, ensuring that all Court hearings, depositions, and mediations are scheduled in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience using scheduling software (Aderant Total Office).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the calendars of multiple attorneys and staff members
- Schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and other legal appointments
- Communicate opposing counsel to arrange mutually convenient meeting times
- Coordinate with court personnel and other third-party vendors as needed
- Track and update case deadlines and court appearances
- Generate reports and update case management software
- Handle general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience as a legal scheduler with a law firm
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with case management software a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
