Supervisor Collections

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to join our team in Coral Springs. The Collections Supervisor will focus on leading a team of collection agents, setting performance standards, and ensuring exceptional team performance and customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Supervise and provide leadership to the collections team.
  • Monitor and guide collection agents to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and training to staff.
  • Handle complex or escalated customer interactions with poise and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of important collection activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop solutions to customer payment problems and improve collection rates.
  • Prepare and analyze team performance reports, making data-driven decisions for improvement.

What You Will Need To Have

  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in collections or customer service.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within collections or a call center environment, managing a minimum of 6 subordinates.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

What Would Be Great To Have

  • Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
  • Certifications or additional training in collections, customer service, or leadership.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards within the financial services industry.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish or another language relevant to the client base.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and training programs.
