Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and enhance their experience through excellent service.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
- Handle cash register operations accurately while providing change to customers as needed.
- Adhere to all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and quality in beverage preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus; familiarity with various cocktail recipes is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local regulations.
