What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Document Specialist position at Fishback Financial Corporation?
Job Description:
This person will perform a wide variety of activities related to the daily processing of loan transactions.
Qualifications: This person should have an associate’s degree, plus two years of previous work experience or the equivalent. General knowledge of bank lending functions is helpful along with good written and verbal communication skills. Time management skills are critical to ensure all loan documentation is prepared accurately and timely. The ability to work with multiple departments along with an aptitude for detail is also essential.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and process all loan documentation in adherence to loan policy and within compliance guidelines according to established procedures. Identify appropriate documentation for all types of loans. Verify bank’s collateral is documented accurately within loan documents.
2. Act as a resource to other areas of the bank regarding loan documentation and other general loan support as needed.
3. Initiate collateral/document tracking for all loans originated in LaserPro and nCino.
4. Collect and validate HMDA data for LaserPro transactions.
5. Book and fund loans processed in nCino to our Core system.
6. Complete assigned projects as designated by the supervisor.
7. Act in accordance with FFC policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook.
8. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
