Job Summary
Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Engineer or Project Manager to join our growing Parking Department. The qualified applicant must be able to demonstrate career experience in design and project management for architectural, civil, parking, or structural engineering projects. The position includes a dynamic mix of parking structure design, evaluation and restoration of existing structures, and project management.
Primary Functions
- Participate in and potentially lead a multi-discipline design team to prepare concept through construction documents for design of new parking structures and mixed-use buildings and repair of existing structures.
- Lead and coordinate a project team within the Parking Department.
- Participate in and potentially coordinate team efforts for construction administration.
- Actively monitor and manage project design schedules, staffing, and budgets for multiple projects.
- Interface with clients, owners, and other stakeholders to communicate project progress and status, technical and administrative aspects of projects.
- Assist with performing condition assessment restoration design for existing parking structures including structural observations and evaluation, cost estimating, report writing, engineering design and detailing of repairs, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.
- Assist in preparing proposals in coordination with other technical staff and potential teaming partners. Assist in establishing appropriate scope and associated fees for projects.
Desired Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
