What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chess Sponsor (stipend duty) position at Fishburn Park Elementary?
The chess sponsor will meet after school for a minimum of one hour per week from September through April and will participate in a minimum of two local tournaments with their school team. Attendance at a minimum of one in-service session at the beginning of the school year is required.
Record-keeping requirements include monthly submission of lesson plans and student attendance to the Chess Lead Teacher.
This position is paid a $1,519.00 stipend, which will be distributed in equal installments throughout the school year.
