Fishburne Military School seeks Summer Camp Counselors for its Summer School Program from June 22, 2025 thru July 19, 2025. Fishburne Military School is an all-boys military school located in Waynesboro, VA next to the Blue Ridge Mountains that emphasizes leadership training, personal responsibility, and a strong educational foundation.
The Fishburne Summer Program includes outdoor adventure trips, sports intramurals, and variety of camp activities. We are looking for high energy college student to spend a month supporting and coaching and guiding our Summer School students.
The successful candidate will have a high energy, positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to overall Summer School experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with all campers in various activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Implement team management techniques to maintain order during group activities.
- Provide support and guidance in educational and recreational settings.
- Assist in planning and leading sports, arts, and educational programs tailored to campers' interests.
- Help administer first aid when necessary and promote health and safety practices among campers.
