Salary Range: $70,000 - $81,000 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Effectively complete assignments related to bridge inspection, bridge load rating and analysis and all aspects of concrete/steel bridge and foundation design.
- Assist with field inspections and reports for bridge and culvert inspections.
- Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for bridges and related structures.
- Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Proactively assist Project Managers and Designers.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, which may involve addressing design-related queries from contractors, conducting site visits, and reviewing construction progress to ensure it aligns with the design intent.
Education & Experience
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 0 - 5 years minimum of transportation experience, structures/bridge design experience preferred
