Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage and facilitate project communications with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Manage projects including project budget, schedule, scope, invoicing, and accounts receivable on time and within budget.
- Assist with project proposals and business development.
- Guide the design of projects, ensuring QA/QC is performed on all calculations and deliverables.
- Oversee preparation of construction bid packages for transportation projects; providing direction to internal design staff; and communicating with clients and regulatory approving agencies.
- Ability to manage transportation projects including highways, structures and traffic.
- Lead the engineering design process for transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with design teams to develop detailed plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Perform technical reviews and provide guidance to resolve design challenges.
- Manage a team of engineers, drafters, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.
Education & Experience
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8-15 years minimum of transportation experience, project management experience preferred.
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Complete understanding of MicroStation
