Salary Range: $82,000 - $97,000 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.
The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for utility right-of-way erosion and sediment control design, grading plans, environmental assessments, client/agency interaction, storm water planning and inspections.
- Prepare the preparation and modification of designs, calculations, construction cost estimates, reports, permit applications, construction plans, and specifications for the project.
- Design Environmental Management & Construction Plan (EM & CP) work for electric utility projects.
- Work closely with clients and regulatory agencies to facilitate approval of permit applications and plans.
- Responsible for site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, drainage systems and regulatory permitting issues.
- Oversight of construction observation of projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
- Responsible for design associated with the site utility electric, natural gas, and telecommunication services.
- Develop proposals and design cost estimates for renewable energy, oil & gas and utility projects.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.
- Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Proactively assist Project Managers, and Project Engineers and Group Manager.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MS preferred).
- 5-10 year’s minimum of engineering experience in the Energy sector with knowledge of, multiple aspects of civil engineering and site design
- EIT required, Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
- Experience with MS Office and AutoCAD software preferred.
