Job Summary
The Class A CDL Truck Driver is a critical role responsible for transporting aggregates and asphalt to job sites while ensuring safety and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide good customer service.
- Inspect equipment daily and report deficiencies to supervisors/mechanics.
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement or ability to acquire endorsement.
- Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy.
- SPEAK, READ, UNDERSTAND, and WRITE in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Asphalt paving experience.
Work Environment:
Frequent travel required; overnight stays may involve a generous per diem to cover lodging and meal expenses.
