Job Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and maintaining production goals. This position requires travel and involves operating various types of heavy equipment, including skid steers, loaders, dozers, crushers, and excavators.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
- Assist with setup and tear down of plants
- Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
- Maintain safety protocols and comply with company policies and standards
Requirements
- Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance
- Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- Must be at least 18 years old
Work Environment
This position requires travel and may involve working in various locations, including outdoor environments. The individual must be able to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks accordingly.
