Job Overview

The Heavy Machine Operator will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including skid steers, loaders, dozers, crushers, and excavators, according to project specifications.
This position requires travel and the ability to work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
- Assist with setup and teardown of plants
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance
- Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
