POSITION SCOPE
The P6 Scheduler will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of horizontal construction projects and a strong background in project scheduling.
POSITION DUTIES
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule development
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate delays
- Prepare and distribute regular schedule reports and progress updates to the project team and senior management
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements
- Assist in the development of project budgets and resource plans
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide recommendations for schedule improvements
- Develop schedules for bidding purposes including design build projects
