Job Summary
We have an immediate need for skilled Welders to work at General Steel and Supply Company in Dickinson, ND. This safety-sensitive position requires various welding duties on the manufacturing of new equipment and the refurbishing of heavy equipment in a climate-controlled shop under the direction of the Shop Foreman.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform basic welding and fabrication duties
- Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication
- Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, etc.
- Practice and enforce company's safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Demonstrate proficiency with both stick and wire welders
- Occasional overnight travel required
