Fisher Investments is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Expert to pioneer next-generation continuity and business resiliency structures, processes, and relationships needed to support our multinational growth.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned expert in digital operational resilience to collaborate closely with our technology and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) teams to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Resiliency Planning: Design and implement comprehensive resiliency plans that align business processes with digital services and IT infrastructure, and manage ongoing support/improvement of these processes
- Compliance and Implementation: Partner in regulatory compliance efforts, focusing on EU DORA, providing expert guidance on digital operational resilience, and aligning business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning with regulatory requirements
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR): Develop, align, execute, and maintain business continuity (BC) and IT resilience plans by conducting regular business continuity and resilience tests to ensure preparedness and effectiveness
- Technology Integration and Oversight: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate business continuity strategies with IT infrastructure, digital services, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
- Crisis Management: Help manage and train the crisis management team, ensure crisis communication tools and processes are maintained and ready for implementation, and oversee emergency response capabilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Business Continuity team, delegate responsibility while maintaining strategic oversight, and ensure all aspects of business continuity and IT operational resiliency planning are supported
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field
- Experience: 7 years of experience in business continuity, IT disaster recovery, IT risk management, or similar related fields with a strong focus on resiliency planning and IT collaboration
- Certifications: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certifications
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of DORA and its implications for digital operational resilience, strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, with a focus on resiliency, previous team management experience, and experience managing executive stakeholder relationships
