Job Summary :
Administers body treatments and massages including Swedish massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular, aromatherapy, mud applications, various wraps, various scrubs, chair and cabana massage.
Administers facial and skin treatments, including waxing, extractions, and facial massage demonstrations if needed.
Primary Duties :
Provides the highest level of customer service and quality care to each and every Member and Guest.
Provides information to Members and Guests about treatments and services, and
provides demonstrations, if needed.
Follows procedures and guidelines in administration of treatments, performs draping policy;
Refers medical problems to physicians and only performs procedures in and according to training manual.
Prepares and maintains treatment facilities and equipment (i.e. removes soiled linens, etc.).
Assists with promotion of treatment services.
Continues to further self in profession and knowledge of profession.
Sells skin care treatment products according to the guests needs (minimum of $100 monthly retail sales in products associated with profession).
The lead therapist will be in charge of training for the therapists' teams and stock and management of all professional products used at the SPA for massages, facial and body treatment, and overlooking the therapist team's scheduling and availabilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Must have Cosmetology License and Massage Therapist License
Must have good verbal communication skills.
Must have good judgment, hospitality-greeting people and making them comfortable.
Must be able to promote / market to support events and activities.
Must be able to work in a team, have positive attitude about people, position, co-workers, and employer.
Sales ability to self-promote as well as product line.
Education / Experience :
2 years professional experience is required.
Must have a high school diploma.
Experience working in a Spa and / or Resort is required.
Must have a Florida Massage Therapist license, a valid Drivers License and be CPR & AED certified.
