What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Fisher National Bank?
The Branch Manager supports the Community President by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customers and staff. The duties of the branch manager are contingent on the scope of services that are offered at the facility. The position is responsible for overseeing the teller function, ATM balancing, night depository processing, cash management and customer service duties. The branch manager must have a familiarity with IRA services along with personal banking products and services. The branch manager may also be asked to interview, underwrite and close consumer-based loans.
· Manage Daily operations including CSR schedules, payroll system, incentives, etc.
· Train, motivate and mentor CSR staff
· Annual performance evaluations
· Balance vault and order currency
· Manage wire transfers both incoming and outgoing
· Approve overdrafts and manage NSF account activity
· IRA distributions and Contributions
· ACH maintenance
· Manage Training Calendar
· Interviewing, underwriting and closing consumer loans
· Business development efforts to grow the branch
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Knowledge of customer service skills
· Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft products
· Previous management experience preferred
