General Summary:
Information Services Analyst Position. The Application Analyst I - Revenue Cycle Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting the EHR revenue cycle processes across the healthcare organization. In this role, they will communicate effectively with all levels of staff and take initiative to work proactively. Support Supervisors/Managers and revenue cycle billing team when issues are identified and reported, evaluate workflow processes, improve efficiencies, support software implementations and upgrades. High School Diploma or GED required. Healthcare billing experience and Certified Professional Biller (CPB), or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBSC) certification preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Supports major enterprise applications and others as assigned.
- Facilitates design of business workflow in conjunction with the business units; workflows will focus on improving efficiencies, solving complex workflow issues and incorporating quality initiatives.
- Performs needs assessment, software design, implementation, support, and reporting.
- Coordinates and participates in unit and integrated testing activities of the software to ensure that the design objectives are met.
- Identifies testing scenarios and develops test scripts
Experience
Preferred- 2 year(s): Healthcare billing experience and Certified Professional Biller (CPB), or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBSC) certification preferred.
