General Summary :
The Physician Recruiter at Fisher-Titus is an integral role within our health system to ensure appropriate staffing for community health needs. This role has two main business functions - new provider recruitment and new provider orientation and onboarding.
New Provider Recruitment : This role leads the recruitment efforts for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to our service area on behalf of Fisher-Titus, or local private practices who need assistance with recruiting activity. This role works closely with administrative staff, medical staff leadership, and individual practices to understand provider needs for the service area and to identify appropriate candidates for these needs. Recruiting activities include contacting prospects directly or in conjunction with a recruitment agency, arranging and maintaining itineraries and accommodations, hosting meetings and activities for prospect visits, and working with respective members of Senior Leadership to coordinate financial packages for the successful recruitment of a candidate.
New Physician Orientation & Onboarding : Upon successful provider start, this role is responsible for orienting the provider to the health system and the community which includes facility tours, and introductions and capabilities presentations to appropriate community members, health system leaders and staff, and area providers.
