Are you an expert in Bridge Design? Fisher Associates is looking for a skilled Project Engineer to be part of our dynamic Transportation Group. As a Bridge Project Engineer , you’ll play a crucial role in the design, analysis, construction, and maintenance of various structures, such as buildings, bridges, dams and other infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for bridges and related structures.
- Provide technical expertise for specialized design tasks.
- Perform and oversee the day-to-day technical design tasks associated with a project.
- Attend routine project design meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and maintain accurate and complete project files.
- Coordinate regularly with the technical staff to complete the project within the assigned project budget and on schedule.
- Understand all aspects of preparing bridge design plans and construction bid packages.
- Complete field inspections and reports for bridge and culvert inspections.
- Effectively complete assignments related to bridge inspection, bridge load rating and analysis, and all aspects of concrete / steel bridge and foundation design.
- Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, which may involve addressing design-related queries from contractors, conducting site visits, and reviewing construction progress to ensure it aligns with the design intent.
