Position Summary
Fishers is seeking a qualified Service Director to lead and oversee the Imaging Services department. The Service Director will be responsible for driving exceptional customer support, efficient operations, and adherence to industry standards. The role involves managing a team of technicians, driving continuous process improvements, and fostering relationships with customers and partners to deliver outstanding service experiences.
Interviews for this position will begin March 10th, 2025.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement service strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify trends within the copier and printer service industry.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental success.
- Recruit, train, and mentor service technicians and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Foster a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure service requests are handled efficiently and meet customer expectations.
- Manage parts inventory and vendor relationships to minimize downtime.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated service issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Gather customer feedback to improve service offerings and address concerns proactively.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in the copier and printer industry.
- Provide guidance to the team on complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with the sales department to ensure proper service alignment with product offerings.
- Prepare and manage the service department's budget.
- Monitor expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.
- Analyze financial reports to make informed decisions on resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Promote safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 5 years of experience in service management, preferably in the copier/printer industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of copier and printer systems, including hardware and software.
- Experience with e-auto ERP System preferred.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools, such as eTMS, preferred.
