C++ Software Engineer

FishEye Software is searching for talented and motivated C Software Engineers to play a key role in our team supporting the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program. This advanced defense initiative is crucial in bolstering Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) capabilities, enabling seamless radar data exchange among various naval assets. As a vital member of our team, you will play a central role in the architecture, development, and verification of intricate software and systems. Your footprint will extend beyond mere coding. Engaging in every phase of the software lifecycle, from ideation to integration, will be at the heart of your duties.

In your capacity as a C Software Engineer, your insights and expertise will be pivotal in refining and augmenting these data processing algorithms, culminating in a unified display of tactical information.

This position requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance

Required Skills:

• B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of C software development
• Experience operating within a Linux-based environment.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience in embedded programming
• Familiarity with Git, ClearCase, SVN, or similar

Desired Skills:

• Windows, VxWorks, or similar
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Radar domain knowledge
• Model-Based Engineering
• Object Oriented Analysis/Development
• Software systems modeling languages such as UML and SysML.
