What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at FishEye Software?
FishEye Software is seeking a Test Engineer with experience on Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) systems. In this role, you will collaborate with a cohesive team of Test Analysts and Project Managers to plan, execute, analyze, and report on upgrades to missile defense or ground-based radar systems. You will develop thorough test procedures and detailed plans, ensuring that new hardware or software installations meet mission needs. This position involves analyzing software and hardware requirements for feasibility, directing and participating in all phases of test management, and reporting on independent findings. You will also leverage MATLAB and other tools to conduct data analyses, evaluate system performance, and deliver actionable recommendations that support radar system effectiveness.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Required Skills :
- Proven experience with operational test planning, execution, and analysis for missile defense or ground-based radar systems
- Ability to develop and implement test plans, procedures, and detailed documentation to support new hardware or software upgrades
- Proficiency in data analysis using MATLAB (or similar tools) to determine system performance
- Capability to identify and execute viable and operationally realistic test methods (live fire, virtual events, subsystem tests, etc.)
- Ability to analyze recorded data, assess system performance, and report findings in compliance with established guidance
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating reports, procedures, and documentation
