To support our growth, we are seeking an AdvancedMD Support User Specialist to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot our AdvancedMD electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system across multiple locations and disciplines.
Job Summary:
The AdvancedMD Support User Specialist will serve as the primary in-house expert for our medical network, providing technical support, training, and system optimization to ensure seamless operations. This role requires expertise in AdvancedMD software, workflow analysis, troubleshooting, and user support for clinical and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will have back end knowledge of templates, provider set up, schedule building, facility affiliation, all areas of Advanced MD.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide on-site support to clinicians, administrators, and staff to resolve AdvancedMD-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and operations.
User Training & Education: Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees on AdvancedMD functionalities, best practices, and system updates.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze current workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and maximize system capabilities.
Customization & Configuration: Assist in configuring templates, forms, and system settings to meet the unique needs of the medical network per Fishing Point Healthcare standards.
Data Management & Reporting: Generate reports, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and tribal healthcare regulations.
System Upgrades & Integration: Work with IT teams and third-party vendors to manage software updates, integrations, and system enhancements.
Documentation & Support Resources: Maintain up-to-date documentation, FAQs, and user guides to support internal staff.
Collaboration: Act as the liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff, IT support to address system-related concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
Required:
Proven experience with AdvancedMD EHR and Practice Management software (at least 2 years preferred).
Strong understanding of medical office workflows, billing, and scheduling.
Experience troubleshooting software issues and providing end-user support.
Ability to train and educate users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and travel between locations within the network as needed.
Preferred:
Experience multi-location multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, and data security best practices.
Background in IT support, healthcare administration, or a related field.
