We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals while ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and administrative capabilities, making it essential for the candidate to be well-versed in both dental assisting and medical documentation.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, including the use of Eaglesoft for managing medical records.
Provide support in the management of the dental office’s daily operations, including handling patient inquiries.
Utilize 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology to assist in diagnostic procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care, particularly in areas such as Oral surgery and restorative dentistry.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures relevant to dentistry.
Experience with medical documentation processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in managing medical records.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Certification in Dental Assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
