Overview
The Parts Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the shop's operations within an automotive body shop. This position is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the availability of parts, and maintaining efficient supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chains and logistics, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and customers.
Duties
- Manage the procurement and sourcing of automotive parts to ensure optimal inventory levels - creating a balance work flow for the shop.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking & receiving of parts. The ability to multi-task in a high-paced shop with great accuracy and organizational skills are a must. Responsible for inspecting all incoming parts orders, along with managing all returns.

- Collaborate with automotive writers & technicians to identify parts needs for repairs and maintenance.

- Implement effective logistics strategies to streamline operations within the body shop.

- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and generate reports as needed.
Skills
- Working knowledge of CCC1 Automotive Software.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in inventory control techniques and practices.
- Experience in procurement management and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including logistics coordination.
- Ability to fabricate solutions for unique parts challenges as they arise.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers, staff, and customers professionally.
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment or dealership is required.
Contingent on experience in the field, salary range can potentially increase above parameters noted.

Pay: $67,947.00 - $74,729.00 per year
