About Us
Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a premier skilled nursing facility located in Dutchess County, New York. We have immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to become part of our dedicated and professional staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
- Distributes food and water and feeds residents.
- Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
- Ambulates and transports residents.
- Records and totals fluid intake and output.
- Weighs residents.
- Documents on flow sheets.
- Assists with admission, discharge, and postmortem care.
- Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
- Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
- Reports all observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Makes beds and keeps resident's units clean and in order.
Skill and Experience Requirements
- Current NY CNA Certification.
- Previous Long Term Care experience is a plus.
