Position Overview
We are hiring a Sr. Automation Engineer. The Sr. Automation Engineer will work with the customer to generate Director methods that fulfil workflow requirements, operate collaboratively with internal teams to assist with the generation of acceptance criteria and associated documentation. and design, build, test, and deliver Wako’s automation systems to customers. This role will be responsible for thoroughly testing Director Scheduling Software and device drives to ensure they perform as expected for customers. Responsible for understanding how to use new / existing third-party instrumentation, obtain API and STEP file documentation, and understanding what functionality customers expect from each instrument. Understand how to install, teach, and run Precise Robotic Arms. Create documentation for our software and train customers on its operation. Utilize past research or automation experience to communicate with scientific customers and ensure manual experiments are appropriately transformed into fully automated systems.
