Position Summary:
Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of proposal management and processes. Manage and track proposal preparation and proposal processes with general supervision. Communicates with engineering, pricing, programs, contracts, security inside the company and customers to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. Works to achieve proposal delivery targets with direct impact on company results. Required to lead BD effort in implementation and management of the BD side of CostPoint ERP system. Work with external implementation team and manage data entry of proposal and opportunities in CostPoint.
Responsibilities:
- Works under general supervision.
- Will be responsible for maintaining entire proposal data base and active proposal log as well as conduct weekly proposal status meetings and processes within job area.
- Will review others' work product.
- Communicates with contacts within and outside of own department and will occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, etc.).
- Explains and interprets processes and procedures to others within and outside the job area.
- Will work to justify and gain cooperation regarding processes, practices and procedures.
- Responsibilities will also include maintaining online subscriptions to database services for researching customers, both existing and potential, for information concerning past contracts, financials, security and compliance. Information from these databases will be organized and/or summarized for Proposal Team and Management review
- Work consists of making moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
- Keeps Continuous Process Improvement in mind at all times.
- Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues.
- Problems will require understanding of other job areas, e.g. pricing, programs, contracts, security etc.
- Problems are typically solved drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Requires proficient knowledge of job area.
- May have practical knowledge of proposal management.
- Familiarity of manufacturing, pricing and contracts fields is required.
- Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is 86,500-160,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Fisica Inc. also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), PTO, EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, and schedule type.
