Job Responsibilities:
- Member Services:
- Greet members and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Answer questions, provide information, and assist with member inquiries.
- Help new members with sign-up procedures and tour the facility.
- Membership Management:
- Process new membership applications, renewals, and transfers.
- Verify member credentials and update records as necessary.
- Explain membership options, fees, and benefits.
- Facilities Management
- Ensure equipment is put away and that the gym remains neat and orderly
- Regularly wipe down machines and fill sanitizing bottles
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked (soap, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Payment Processing:
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and membership fee collection.
- Maintain accurate financial records and daily cash reconciliation.
- Telephone and Communication:
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to missed calls and messages promptly and professionally.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members when needed.
- Scheduling and Appointments:
- Manage appointment bookings for services, such as personal training or fitness classes.
- Assist with scheduling and reservations for specific gym facilities or amenities.
