Position Summary:
The Fitness Manager is responsible for leading and developing the personal training team while also serving as the club’s top trainer. This role is client-focused, with approximately 75% of time dedicated to training clients and the remaining time spent on managerial responsibilities. The Fitness Manager ensures trainer development, client satisfaction, and overall program growth while working closely with the Fitness Director to execute strategic initiatives.

Personal Training (75%)
- Serve as the club’s top-performing personal trainer.
- Deliver high-quality personal training sessions, ensuring client progress and retention.
- Lead by example in sales, client engagement, and professional conduct.
Management & Leadership (25%)
- Trainer Development: Meet 1-on-1 with trainers at least monthly to provide coaching, support, and development opportunities.
- Staff Meetings: Create and present monthly meeting agendas with the Fitness Director to align the team with club goals.
- Client Success & Retention: Handle customer service matters related to PT clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Trainer Growth: Guide and mentor trainers to improve their skills, increase client load, and drive revenue.
- Operational Support: Assist with scheduling, tracking trainer performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in personal training and fitness leadership.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop trainers while managing business objectives.

Manager Hours & Schedule
- Personal Training Sessions - A maximum of 30 hours worth of Sessions and classes should be performed while holding this position
- A minimum of 10 hours should be scheduled to complete the required tasks of the position
- Your schedule should be communicated in advance to the Fitness Director as well as the entire team
Physical Requirements
As a Trainer you must be able to perform any and all the physical activities required for a personal training session. Any limitations to those abilities must be communicated to a manager. All employees must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, speak, listen, or crawl.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
