Land Surveyor & Mapper

What You Will Do:​

• Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility, and as-built recovery and construction stakeout
• Assist survey technicians with the production of mapping products and computations
• Other duties as assigned related to field data

What You Need To Be Successful:​

• 5 years experience in land surveying and/or project mapping work
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor In-Training (LSIT) is a plus
• Ability to operate Total Stations and fluent in GPS, static, RTK, and RTN collection protocols
• Familiarity with Carlson SurvCE and TDS software a plus
• Sufficient knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field including the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout
• Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats
• Experience in the recovery of boundary evidence in the field
• Ability to collect as-built and topography data, provide sketches, and work with survey technicians to develop mapping products
• Knowledge of SW Florida Codes & Ordinances is a plus
• Utility locating experience a plus

Compensation:

• $85,000 - $120,000
• Final offer of compensation to successful candidates will depend on qualifications and experience.
