fit-flavors is a meal prep company dedicated to providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals that taste great. We are a faith-driven organization, deeply rooted in Christian values, guiding our mission with integrity, purpose, and service. We prepare and package over 4,000 meals per day in our industrial kitchen and distribute them throughout the St. Louis area, to both our storefront locations and direct-to-customer homes. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who can optimize and enhance our daily production processes while innovating new solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Health Food Sales Associate to support our Sunset Hills location.
You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure our Sunset Hills Store operations and customer experience meet the company standard. Your main responsibility will be to provide best-in-class, legendary customer service to all fit-flavors customers through selling meals, smoothies, and other products and services based on the active promotions.

Education & Experience
- Experience in retail, food service, or similar
- The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Desire and willingness to develop professionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Background and/or interest in health/nutrition industry
Schedule
Full Time; 32-40 hours / week
Required to work 2-3 week day shifts
Required to work at least 1 weekend shift (Required to be willing to working 2 weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday only when absolutely needed - this is avoided as much as possible)
Compensation
$17 / hour
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk & move quickly within a busy environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to tolerate cooler environment (40 degree walk-in cooler)
- Ability to reach with arms, bend, squat, kneel unassisted and use hands, and lift 25 lb cases of food

Key Result Areas & Responsibilities
- Providing best in class customer service to all fit-flavors customers, following the Customer Experience Standard
- Properly FIFOing the meals in the cooler (dates to keep on bask stock vs front stock)
- Checking customers out through the POS system
- Knowledgeable on the food quality and preparations
- Counting the drawer each shift and being responsible for the money collected during the shift
- Answering all incoming store phone calls with excellent customer service
- Attending and actively participating in all monthly Customer Experience Team Trainings and quarterly Company Town Halls
- Assisting the Store Managers in managing inventory as necessary
- Having flexibility for schedule changes due to business needs
